The Guild of Property Managers and Developers is actively growing. Today it has an evident influence in the Russian real estate market. Additionally to Moscow and St. Petersburg GMD has opened its regional offices in Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Omsk, Samara, Tumen, Kirov and Chelyabinsk. Partnership agreements with authorities of different regions were signed. New partners become participants of events aimed at productive dialogue between business and authorities. The Guild continues its regional expansion – the more Russian regions get involved into the life of professional community, the higher is professional level of market players and the stronger Russian market becomes.

We bring best Russian and international market professionals to Russian regions to conduct seminars, workshops and master classes. The growing number of regional administrations and companies will take part in the events organized by the Guild in St. Petersburg, Moscow and abroad. We provide an always-green-light gateway to real Russia for our foreign partners. The Guild also will bring more Russian business to the Western countries.

The education & training activity is very important for the Russian market to fit in the world’s standards and best practices. We will continue to organize courses jointly with the leading knowledge centers to increase the number of certified property managers (CPM) and certified commercial investment managers (CCIM) in the country.

The Guild is proud of its extensive program of conferences, seminars and other networking events. They are ‘must go’ events for active professionals working in Russia. The key event is PROEstate, the biggest real estate forum in Eastern and Northern Europe. PROEstate 2012 will take place 12-14 September in St. Petersburg. Our Christmas summits traditionally conclude the professional year in Russia. The success of Christmas summits 2010 has shown the importance of such forums ‘in all weathers’. The Guild will continue to organize events, which serve as the platform for free exchanges and consolidate the professional community.

More and more GMD events take place abroad. We prepare them jointly with our foreign partners. GMD groups at world real estate forums, such as MIPIM and ExpoReal, have become a tradition. GMD has an impressive list of countries, to which our member-companies have been introduced. We have arranged specialized business tours to far-away markets of Japan, China, Malaysia, USA and Canada and to neighboring European countries.

In 2008 the Guild launched a new international project, the Investors Club, a platform for exchanges between Western and Russian investors and developers. Its multi-format sessions have taken place in St. Petersburg (Russia), Cannes (France), Bonn (Germany), London (UK), Luxembourg, Vienna (Austria) and others. The last session took place in St. Petersburg in the framework of the V International Investment Forum PROEstate 2011.

The Guild is aware of the latest trends in the world of real estate. In 2010 GMD launched Green Awards, the first All-Russian Competition on sustainable development and energy efficiency. Objective of the Competition is to disseminate experience of successful resource-efficient and environment-minded projects and to make public promotion of the Sustainable Development in Russia. Green Awards gathers development and construction companies, architectural studios, design bureaus carrying out projects based on the energy-efficiency and environment friendly technologies. This year Competition Final has been held within PROEstate 2011.

Russian real estate market is experiencing a dynamic growth. The Guild of Property Managers and Developers is an open association, which is inviting Russian, CIS and international companies to be its members, partners or collaborators in projects. Join us, grow with the Guild and share the advantages of strong professional community.

The Guild maintains exchanges with professional associations and world market leaders. Our reliable partners are CEPI, the European Network of Real Estate professions, National associations of Europe, IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management, USA). We are planning to strengthen relations with the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the world leader of development expertise. We believe that direct exchanges, availability of first-hand information and professional know-how will make Russian market more transparent and robust.
